Budelli is a tamer and more verdant island, with what must be the most famous beach in all Italy: the Spiaggia Rosa, which featured in Antonioni's film Il Deserto Rosso, and is so-called because of the blushing pink colour of the sand, caused by a microorganism that lives on seagrass. The white Vermentino grape is grown all over the island. Knead the dough for 5 to 10 minutes, or until it is smooth and satiny and no longer grainy. This quaint bar serves perfectly prepared seafood dishes, as well as chilled glasses of the most divine wine – lovingly produced in the Alghero, Bosa, Gallura and Oliena districts. There was a really fun lively atmosphere and plus we got to check out an awesome display of fireworks after dinner the night of the 15th in the town center.
